Evening Wedding Entertainment - Live Bands

Central Music Agency provides wedding entertainment all over Scotland from the Highlands to the Borders. We understand that this is your big day and you want it all to be perfect. That is why we would always suggest that you view your entertainment live before booking. If this isn't possible each band has it's own page with audio, biography, testimonials and in some cases live video footage.

We are often asked if the bands will take requests for first dances. The answer to this question is yes. If your asking a swing band to play death metal then they might suggest using an mp3 player for the first dance but in most cases there isn't problem. Most bands can also play some ceilidh.

We work closely with our bands and like to give the client direct contact with their band to arrange all of the finer details of the night although we can also organise this if you would prefer. All bands will provide their own PA system, lighting rig and musical equipment.

All bands can be booked directly although the advantage to booking through an agent is peace of mind if something was to happen to your band. We have a massive list of entertainment which has all been vetted by us. All of our bands cost the same directly as through our agency. Peace of mind won't cost you a penny more.

Ceilidh bands

A ceilidh is just perfect for a wedding, function or party as nobody is left out. Many of the dances are in groups and it is an opportunity to ask anybody to dance with you. Nobody need sit it out. The dances are so easy that even children can learn them. In Scottish schools they generally learn these in the classroom, so regardless of age or experience all can dance the night away.

Unless all your guests love ceilidh we would suggest either a disco along with the ceilidh band or hiring a ceilidh band who can provide you with some covers (pop, rock).
