About Us

Central Music Agency was set up by myself, Karen Blackwood BA RSAMD PGCE in March of 2005. My husband Stuart is a percussion teacher for Falkirk Council and has played in bands for over 20 years and I am an accomplished Classical Guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and secondary school music teacher at Crieff High School. As well as being a successful business woman I also have the music training to select talented, professional entertainment for our agency. We have 4 boys aged 7, twins at 6 and our youngest son who is 2.

Central Music Agency has evolved over the past few years through listening to our customers and planning the site around your needs. We have gained good relationships with hotels all over Scotland and have supplied every 5 star hotel in Scotland. Wedding entertainment is our speciality, so feel free to ask any questions.

Most emails are answered in the evening when I get a break from our family and since we work from home you have the peace of mind that the office is never really closed although we try to take calls only up until 7pm to let the boys get to sleep.
