Moondance are probably one of our most versatile bands not only in instrumentation but by the variety in there music. This 5 piece fully live band cover Swing (including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Nat King Cole), to Scottish dance (ceilidh for around 20 minutes) and covers from 60’s till the present day. Having heard the band perform live we just had to sign them up. The sound was tight, the performing was relaxed and skilful with well arranged horn parts and sensational improvising.
The band boasts the following instrumentation.
Steve – Trumpet and Vocals.
Robert – Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar, Saxophone.
John – Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Keyboards.
Malcolm – Keyboards, Trombone.
Alex – Drums.
With recent swing albums from Robbie Williams, Westlife, Michael Bublé and Jamie Cullum topping the charts, swing music is making a comeback and the music really does appeal to all ages.
Moondance pride themselves not only in a professional presentation but also in the highest quality of performance.
The band is usually booked up to a year in advance so book early to avoid disappointment.
